Maiden, unable to make an impact in four hurdles starts in 2019, including 49L defeat on handicap bow at Limerick (2m, heavy; 6-1) in December. Has to improve on return.
Made the frame in a maiden hurdle at Bellewstown (2m½f, good; 25-1) last August but looks a rare standout on his CV; plenty to prove on return from layoff.
2-15 over hurdles with both wins over minimum trip at Wexford (latest in April 2019); in decent form when last spotted there in October and worth close look in betting on reappearance.
Won a maiden point-to-point in November 2018 buy yet to pose a threat in bumper/hurdles career; has changed hands since last sighted in October.
Three-time winner on the Flat in Britain (peak rating 76) but has suffered four wide-margin defeats over timber since joining this trainer. Hard to recommend now making first foray into a handicap.
22-race maiden but has run two good races lately, including runner-up effort at Kilbeggan (2m4f, good; 5-1) eight days ago. Trainer in form and has to be on any shortlist.
11-race maiden over timber but has repeatedly shaped with promise in that time; well held at Kilbeggan (2m, good; 13-2) on return to action recently but wasn't without market support there and may be sharper now.
Yet to achieve much in three starts over hurdles but filly represents top trainer/jockey team and would be of interest should market speak in her favour on seasonal/handicap bow.
Maiden on the Flat/over hurdles; had a recent spin around Leopardstown on the level to boost fitness ahead of handicap hurdle bow but all to prove on the formbook.
33-1 chance on handicap hurdle bow at Tramore (2m, soft) on New Year's Day and ran accordingly; in keeping with previous form over timber. Impossible to make case for on form.
Much-improved when 100-1 runner-up at Limerick (2m½f, good) 15 days ago (Friary Gold fourth, runner-up since at Kilbeggan). Has to be in with a chance if repeating that dose now.
Holy Roman Emperor mare has shown promise despite being 0-12 over hurdles; 3L third at Tramore (2m, soft; 12-1) on previous start in January and should have place claims in this line-up.
Best of his efforts to date came in a beginners chase at Fairyhouse in February 2018; well held at Naas (2m, yielding; 33-1) in ninth of 18 when last out in the spring and others have much more going for them at this point.
Long-standing maiden has shown best form over fences but was pulled up at Tipperary last week in that code. Best watched for now.

Friary Gold (15/8), Zinat (11/2), Midnight Geisha (13/2), Sweet Cassie (7/1), Wildewood (8/1), Doyouthinkso (10/1), Storm Flight (11/1), Casamari Abbey (12/1), Costly Diamond (14/1), Blackyellowred (16/1), Trenchtown Rock (16/1), Isosceles (16/1), Daring Decree (25/1), Gendarme (28/1), Backintheboom (33/1), Stadius (66/1), Amber Run (66/1)
SWEET CASSIE was runner-up at a fancy price on her seasonal return at Limerick recently and will have sound claims if repeating that now. Friary Gold, behind the selection in fourth that day, has since found only one too strong at Kilbeggan and needs consideration despite his long-standing maiden status. Likewise, Zinat is 0-12 over timber but should be involved. Blackyellowred didn't live up to market expectations on return at Kilbeggan, so it will be interesting to see if there's money again, while handicap debutante Midnight Geisha requires scrutiny given her trainer/jockey team.
- Sweet Cassie
- Friary Gold
