A half-brother to a 5f/6f winner in Hungary and Italy, his dam was placed over similar trips in Listed races (also won on Fibresand during her time in racing). Yard has been quiet but can usually be relied upon to have their youngsters primed to go.
Steady performances in both previous starts and has created the impression he can figure at some point. Qualifies for a handicap mark after this and possible he'll do better in that sphere. Trip and ground should suit.
Third of five on debut but may have done better had he not dwelt at the start and been a little short of room near the finish. He's bred to appreciate the trip and could be a popular winner given his regal ownership; one for the shortlist.
Cost £2,000 and is the first foal of a 1m-2m winner who herself is a half-sister to useful French performer Himariya. Good jockey booking but the colt's pedigree lacks the sparkle of some of the others and it's likely he will need more time anyway.
Showed a willing attitude when third of 12 on debut at Newcastle in early June; never landed a telling blow in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot soon after, but still has time on his side and this is a good deal easier. Could find more.
Improved from his modest debut to register placed efforts on Tapeta at Wolverhampton and one over C&D within the last month. Going the right way and could be a player this time. One for the shortlist.
Cost €56,000 as a yearling, his dam is an unraced half-sister to the useful Kitty Kiernan (placed in Listed Grade) and has Group winners Spartacus and Johann Cruyff deeper in her pedigree. Yard is in blistering form, the betting will be informative.
Finished sixth behind subsequent Woodcote Stakes winner Twaasol on debut here in June. However, that formline and has also taken a few knocks since. Still, this fellow can improve as he's bred to flourish over 6f; dangerous to underestimate.
6f suits on pedigree and the colt runs for an in-form yard. His debut run was modest but there's little to split him from City Code on a literal reading of the form. Better drawn of the two this time and less exposed; an interesting contender.
Out of a middle-distance maiden who is a half-sister to a winning miler in the USA; from the same family as Oaks winner Casual Look and 1m2f Listed race winner Shabby Chic; more than likely the filly will find this trip on the sharp side.

With improvement a probability, COLLINSBAY is suggested as the one most likely to deliver a return on a speculative investment. The son of Cable Bay was tardy from the stalls on debut but created a favourable impression once he found his feet. His dam is a half-sister to Musical Comedy, a Listed race winner over 6f, so the portents are encouraging from the pedigree of The Queen's contender. Like a few others on tonight's card, Fools Rush In drops in class after finding the levels too high at Royal Ascot last month; he's still open to improvement and is a viable alternative. Imperial Fora, Supremacy, and Temple Bruer are others with bright futures.
