Drop in the weights were to his advantage when winning at Newcastle (7.1f, slow) in January but has failed to run to anything like that level since. Underperformed over 1m at Thirsk last time (unproven at the trip), needs to show some spark.
AW winner (5f) for Archie Watson in early 2019 before departing to race in Germany (0-9, very hit and miss whilst there). Better signs from his GB return (stable debut) at Redcar (1m, good/firm), posting a good third (only caught closing stages).
Headgear combination worn for his last win quickly reinstated after a below-par effort at Redcar (1m, good/firm) last time. Behind Kingi Compton on that occasion, yet to show his true worth on turf (0-12), both wins coming on the AW (Fibresand).
Both efforts earlier in the year on AW (7f) have been below-par after she showed some promise on handicap debut also on AW but over 6f. Less-exposed than many of these, this will be her first turf start since debut, yard in decent form recently.
Defending a long losing sequence that stretches back to March 2019, shaped a little better over C&D last time off a break in first-time blinkers. Finished just in front of three of today's rivals on that occasion, slipped well below last winning mark
Course winner over 6f who is 0-10 beyond that trip, offered little here returning from seven months off last time. First-time cheekpieces now tried to provide a catalyst for some progress, hard to make a persuasive case for.
Starting to look a well-handicapped sort, ran with credit on his recent return from nine-months off/wind op at Wolverhampton (7.2f, slow). Still a maiden but this isn't a tough ask and he's of interest especially if there is some market interest.
Dual 7f Yarmouth winner off lower marks last year; bounced back to best last time (went like best horse at weights) over 6f (good/soft) here. Hampered on a couple of occasions last time, this trip should suit better, wide draw not insurmountable.
Reliable Flat performer at a modest level over past few years, looked as good as ever when defying 2lb lower mark off a 15-month absence at Newcastle (7.1f, slow). Had odds-on Junior's Dream back in fifth, should run another sound race.
Course win came off a 30lb higher mark (an indication of how far he has fallen in the weights) in early 2018. Only one win since then with a rather chequered profile (can be slow away), stays 7f, a win wouldn't be totally unexpected.
Course winner who is modest now but does have a reduced mark to work with should he show any of his old vigour. Fifth over C&D last time finishing in a knot of today's rivals, hard to totally write-off in a handicapping sense, others more credible.
Burst into life when well-backed on stable/handicap debut at Haydock (7.2f, good/firm), also wore first-time hood. Race came too soon when lacking any sparkle behind Great Colaci under a penalty (AW, 7.1f), worth another chance, 6lb higher than win.

Only a modest contest but one with a few possibilities headed by MORETTI who looked unfortunate when just touched off over 6f here last week. Able to run off the same mark, many will be discouraged by her wide draw but statistics show that its not a major disadvantage. Kingi Compton is another it’s possible to make a sound case for on the back of his last time out third while Black Isle Boy and Explain are potentially well handicapped were they to find some of their old spark. Great Colaci and Juniors Dream clash again with the latter expected to reverse the form having been given a break this time around. Vivacious Spirit is one to watch in the market having flashed some recent ability.
