15-race maiden whose best form in this code has been on Newcastle's Tapeta surface. Was also a 2L second from 1lb higher than today at Carlisle (1m1f, soft) last year, so not written off on that basis if ready after a break.
Enjoyed a good 2019, winning three out of four from 7f-1m½f (including on soft) at one stage during a purple patch in the summer. Remains 4lb higher than the most recent of those and held on recent reappearance. Bit still to prove trip-wise too.
1-15, having scored at Wolverhampton (1m½f, AW) last month on her return from a break. Went close to a repeat at Thirsk (1m, good) next time. Now 7lb higher than her win and last week's Leicester run suggests she is vulnerable.
Arrives seeking a protracted hat-trick after winning her last two races last year at Hamilton (1m½f, good) and here (1m, good to soft). Gets 1m2f. Resumes up 2lb. Big player if in the same form though moderate record when fresh needs to be overcome.
Made the frame a couple of times as a three-year-old, but largely moderate form since. Best effort for Keith Dalgleish was his final start 13-months ago (6f). Since changed hands. Dam won over 1m1½f, so he is interesting up in trip.
Picked up prize money in a couple of fillies' maidens for James Tate in 2018 (both 7f) and started well enough for this trainer last year, before form tailed off. Acts on soft and is now 21lbs lower than this time last year, but plenty to prove.
14-race maiden who went very close from today's lowly mark at Hamilton (1m½f, good) 13-months ago. Ran well again there next time, but well held on all three starts since, and has plenty to prove, not least with regard to this trip.
0-10 but did make the frame on soft ground at Hamilton (1m1f) last season from a BHA mark of 47 and then later in the campaign at Musselburgh (1m4½f, good to firm). Plenty of less auspicious efforts too, and not easy to fancy on stable debut.
Yet to make the frame in any of his 11 starts. His 4½L ninth of 13 over this trip at Newcastle last December suggests that he probably gets this far, but he is out of the handicap here and due to drop another 7lb soon.

Forecasts
Queen Mia (9/4), Ritchie Star (4/1), One Last Hug (13/2), Rosemay (13/2), Royal Countess (12/1), Havana Go (12/1), Poyle George Two (12/1), My Valentino (12/1), Evolutionary (20/1)
A very weak race where Rosemay is the obvious pick given her last two runs of last season, but she may be vulnerable after a break and it might be worth siding with HAVANA GO, who takes a marked step up in trip here. Given that his dam won over a similar distance, he may be able to step up on previous efforts and could come good. Ritchie Star and Queen Mia can both get competitive, while the handicapper is giving Evolutionary a big chance on her form of not that long ago.
- Havana Go
- Rosemay
- Ritchie Star
