Triple winner from 6f-1m, including over C&D last time out in a similar contest. Up 4lb this time, but has previously shown he is capable of a bit better than that, so he has to be taken seriously in this follow-up bid.
Broke her duck at the 11th attempt in a first-time hood when last seen here (7f, soft) last October. Has gone up 7lb as a result. Yet to win first time out in previous seasons, but had been freshened for the win. Enters calculations but more needed.
Dual 5f winner on soft ground here earlier in his career, though last five wins have been over 5f/6f at Newcastle (Tapeta). Remains on a competitive mark, but record when fresh is poor, so needs to rectify that if he is to win again here.
Multiple winner over 6f/7f, and goes on any ground. Latest success came at Hamilton (6f, good to soft) recently, when he made virtually all in a 0-62 handicap. 5lb rise makes this tougher, but he has won back-to -back before. Interesting.
Triple 6f winner, two of those at this track and all on good or good to firm ground. Form has tailed off since her latest win in 2018, and has 2½L to find with Macs Blessings on their recent running here. More needed, but should be competitive.
0-8 and very moderate form so far, being well held in all but one start. Returns for her first run since last September, after wind surgery, and a watching brief can only be advised.
Forecasts
Macs Blessings (11/8), Dodgy Bob (10/3), Jessie Allan (7/2), Sienna Dream (4/1), Star Cracker (16/1), Milabella (66/1)
MACS BLESSINGS had the measure of Jessie Allan when he scored here last time, and he is taken to defy a 4lb rise and repeat the dose, although Jim Goldie's mare may narrow the gap. Sienna Dream is not ruled out, while Dodgy Bob is feared.
