In good form at Ascot either side of winter layoff; returning with seventh in Buckingham Palace Handicap (7f, good to soft) last month; eased 1lb in ratings and this is less taxing; should be competitive.
Hasn't shown his best in two starts around here before; improved on his 2020 efforts when ¼L third at Musselburgh (7f, good) on Wednesday and claims if repeating that in quick turnaround.
Won 3-9 when with Richard Hannon, including at Ascot (7f, good to firm) in September on penultimate start for the yard (rated 87); only fifth of six as even-money fav on first run for this yard at Newmarket 15 days ago. Eased 1lb and may be sharper.
Yet to win post wind op and looked to be in grip of the handicapper in the second half of 2019 after winning at Haydock prior to his surgery. Below last winning mark now, stable in good form and soft ground a bonus.
Winless last year having left novice company but perhaps more owing to targets being too high than anything; gelded over the winter; well held both recent runs but handicapper now giving some leeway. First-time tongue-tie replaces cheekpieces.
Ended last season with a head victory in a 7f event at Newmarket (heavy) in early November. Well held over the same trip at Newcastle (AW) on seasonal debut just under a month ago and needs more from this rating. Stable in form now (runs three).
Busy last year but just one win at Chester (5f, good to firm) in June (rated 87); tended to give his running however and should be sharper for AW return at Newcastle eight days ago.
Yet to win a handicap on turf but very capable of doing just that; 6f winner at Wolverhampton in February and should be tuned up after recent spin around Newcastle; only had one start over 7f and could have something to offer in this.
Advertised his well-being on the AW at Chelmsford last time when 20-1 second; on a fair mark and all three career wins have come with plenty juice in the ground (including over C&D); should be right in the firing line.

Mick Appleby's team are in good form right now and former C&D winner LINCOLN PARK appeals from the foot of the weights. He showed himself to be in good order at Chelmsford last time and gets optimum conditions here with soft ground forecast, while any further rain won't hinder his chance. Riviera Nights was a disappointing favourite on his first out for Roger Varian recently but may do better; while Cold Stare is another aided by soft /goes well here and Greenside ran well at Royal Ascot and should find this less demanding.
