Showed ability in what was a decent 2yo race on debut, and improved a little when seventh of 12 to The Lir Jet in Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot last time. This is more his level, and step up to 6f should help.
Kodi Bear half-brother to 2-y-o 6f winner Boomerang Betty, and cost €100,000 as a yearling. Yard can ready a newcomer, and 2/13 with 2-y-o debutants this season.
Half-brother to Commonwealth Cup winner Golden Horde. Showed plenty when 4L third of 6 to Fountain Cross in a C&D novice on debut, starting slowly but keeping on well. Blinkers worn then are retained, and he's open to improvement.
425,000 gns half-brother to useful winners Star Terms (up to 1½m ) and Fresh Terms (1¼m) out of Queen Mary/Lowther Stakes winner Best Terms. Yard 4/7 with first-time juveniles this term, and this colt ticks all the right boxes.
Kodiac half-brother to useful 6f-1m½f winner Dornoch and 6f/7f winner Palmetto Dunes. Should be effective at this trip, and market will reveal what's expected.
Showcasing half-brother to 7f winner Smooth Sailing and 1m winner Conspiritorout of a winning half-sister to smart 5f-7f winner Doctor Sardonicus. Already gelded, and yard's onlyy 2-y-o winner this year had the benefit of a previous run.
Half-brother to 1¼m winner Desert Way and 1½m winner Blazing Saddles, but by a speedier influence. Led early but faded when fifth of 6 to Apres Dark in a 6f novice at Newmarket last month. Plenty more needed.
Forecasts
Mayaas (15/8), Andronicus Beau (2/1), Line Of Departure (10/3), Cobh (12/1), Ubari (14/1), Shobiz (28/1), Serious Intention (33/1)
Line of Departure will improve from a promising debut, and sets the form standard, but newcomer MAYAAS ticks plenty of the right boxes ahead of this introduction, and can maintain her yard's excellent start with its 2020 juveniles. Andronicus Beau will find this easier than the Norfolk at Royal Ascot, and is also worth consideration.
