Sageburg gelding out of French bred mare. Well beaten and no impression in a couple of bumpers at Kilbeggan in 2018 and when last seen at Cork 12 months ago. Hard to make a case for.

Well held in four career starts on the Flat and has failed to finish in a couple of handicap chase contests in February/March. Worth a check in the market with interesting jockey booking.

Running well in a number of starts over hurdles in the spring of last year. Well held and never nearer when last seen over 2m7f at the Galway festival in August. Looks a tall order but not ruled out.

134-rated handicap hurdler but failed to make the grade in a number of starts for trainer Willie Mullins. Beaten over 19L on stable debut over fences at Naas in March.

Below-par 87-rated handicap hurdler, tailed off in a Gowran Park 1m1f maiden last month. Shouldn't be really getting anywhere near the places but a check in the market advised all the same.

Grade 1 winning 151-rated novice hurdler. Wears a first-time hood for Flat debut and has to be a leading player in this company for ruthless trainer/jockey combination.

Well down the field in a couple of Flat starts on turf 12 months ago. Reaching the veteran stage of a modestly successful career and others preferred.

118-rated handicap hurdler who was holding his own over timber in August/September last year. Won on sole bumper start over 2m4f at Listowel 22 months ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Lightly-raced gelding in the last couple of years. Second of 19 beaten 6L when last seen in August. Worth a check in the market given notable jockey booking.

Consistent 122-rated handicap hurdler. Plenty to like about his second of 15 beaten a head on return to action on the Flat at Limerick over 1m4½f last month. One to consider.

Nothing of note in a couple of bumper starts before a number of desolate efforts over hurdles for trainer Joseph O'Brien. Ran in a Kilbeggan handicap hurdle on Monday. Hard to make a substantial argument for.

Rattled off a four-timer over fences and hurdles last year, improving 30lb in the process. Reportedly had 'little interest' in racing on comeback run at Gowran Park last month finishing last of the 14 runners. One to note in the market.

Not disgraced in a couple of starts on the Flat for the 126-rated handicap hurdler. Not beaten far on seasonal reappearance at Limerick last month, beaten 1½L. Clear chance on form.

Verdict

Big field in the finale' where few could get in to it. Winner of the Grade 1 Top novices' hurdle at Aintree last April, FELIX DESJY can win in first-time hood for trainer and jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd. The Charles Byrnes-trained Thosedaysaregone is likely to put up a fight in the closing stages along with Rasiym, the pair not beaten far in a Limerick 1m4½f maiden last month. The Edward Harty-trained Advantage Point and Cosmo's Moon for trainer Noel Meade can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals. The Jam Man and Chavi Artist both require a check in the market as post time approaches.
  1. Felix Desjy
  2. Thosedaysaregone
  3. Cosmo's Moon
