Majorly regressive since shedding her maiden tag at the third attempt last June. Mark has tumbled 12lbs in just five starts since she was sent handicapping. Giving weight away to all but one of her rivals and is impossible to make a case for.

Handicap newcomer. Never ran over a trip as short as this but did offer room for encouragement when fifth at Limerick (6f; good) on first run of 2020. Needs to come forward again, and stable form a slight concern.

Less exposed than some of her rivals, and has fared respectably since switched to handicaps. Made first start on turf when last seen after a three-month break, and was a close third behind Fool Proof (2nd). In the mix once more.

Switch to turf benefitted him when he posted his best run for some time when third at Limerick (1m; good) on step up to 1m. Mark remains the same and while this is first run over this trip since his debut last August, he is on the shortlist.

Giving more weight away to Fool Proof (2nd) this time round after finishing fourth behind that rival on her handicap debut at Navan (5f; soft). Unchanged mark and solid place claims once again if able to reproduce that form.

Got worked up in the stalls and subsequently ran a poor race when beaten long way at Naas (6f; good to yielding) last week. Not progressing at all and this drop in trip on handicap debut will need to work miracles.

Standout piece of form in recent months was her third at the Curragh (6f; soft) but been a fair way away from reproducing that form in subsequent starts. Finished last of 14 on seasonal comeback at Naas (7f; good to yielding) and is ruled out.

Been campaigned exclusively over 1m in a trio of maidens without making any impression. Under pressure a fair way from home when well-beaten at Naas (1m; good to firm) on first run of the season. Drops in trip but can't be fancied.

A trio of duck eggs beside his name after failing to make any impression in maidens at large odds. Returns to 5f on handicap debut but needs to show vast improvement on recent efforts. Others look far more solid so she is readily opposed.

11/4
No chance with the well-backed winner last time out but showed notable improvement on what was his handicap debut to finish second after a trio of low-key efforts in maidens. No reason to see why he can't break his duck at the fifth attempt.

Switch to handicap sphere has failed to see her show any improvement from lacklustre efforts in maiden company last year. Makes debut at 5f. Impossible t recommend and is subsequently best watched until showing more enthusiasm.

Forecasts

Fool Proof (11/4), Talking Tough (10/3), Lady Alcazar (7/2), All About Ivy (11/2), Sweettasteoflove (12/1), Sansevero Chapel (12/1), Impetuous (16/1), Saphiri (20/1), Dolce Sicily (50/1), Wish You Well (80/1), Anjika (125/1)

Verdict

Quite a few of these are desperately struggling for form at the moment, and that fact makes this contest uncompetitive. All About Ivy finished one-and-a-half length behind Lady Alcazar when the pair met at Navan over this trip recently. The pair of them ran encouraging races compared to their previous showings. However, FOOL PROOF showed marked improvement when he finished in front of both of them that day. That was a clear career best and he receives more weight off his former rivals this time with the claim of his jockey taken into account. If he can cope with the drop back from 1m to 5f, then Talking Tough should also have some sort of role to play.
  1. Fool Proof
  2. Lady Alcazar
  3. All About Ivy
