Decent two-year-old though hasn't taken much racing since, but interesting now dropping down to the minimum trip for the first time in his career as he has been keen and mark continues to drop.
Loves it here with five wins and numerous placed efforts from 19 visits, and a long time since he found himself in a 0-75 contest so has to be of interest with a recent spin on the AW to have sharpened him up.
Back to form when close fifth at Newcastle last time and now finds himself 6lb lower than his last run on turf when fourth of 23 in Stewards Cup Consolation last August. Previous winner here and now runs off a career low mark.
Should come on for recent fourth at Thirsk and finds himself 7lb lower than York win a year ago. Best form on a sound surface and if rain got into the ground it could be a concern.
Career tally of 1-38 on turf tells a story and is still 9lb above that sole win at Goodwood last summer so others make more appeal.

A small field though hard to rule many out and a narrow vote goes to ANTAGONIZE who could just improve for the drop down to 5f for the first time. Royal Brave always has to be of interest at a track he loves and along with Primo's Comet can chase the selection home.
