Mehmas colt, very green for debut at Newmarket and although a lot probably wasn't expected (went off 33-1), showed some promise; almost certain to improve for that and gets a tongue strap to help, so worth a second look.
Kodi Bear colt, £52,000 yearling, dam won over 1m; made an excellent start to career when second at Newcastle at the turn of the month, always prominent and staying on well. Likely to progress here and looks one of the key players.
Oasis dream colt, 62,000gns foal, price dropping to 41,000gns as a yearling; half-brother to a mile winner in Tell Me Thunder, and pedigree a mix of speed and some stamina; yard get the odd first time out 2yo winner, but others preferred.
Dark Angel colt, first foal and dam was a 5f winner, bred to be sharp; yard can ready them first time up, so needs a look in the market for support.
Dutch Art gelding that is a half-brother to the speedy Rebecca Rocks, and despite going off 33-1 for debut here mid-month, almost made it a winning one, sticking on well to be beaten a neck; sets the standard for the others to aim at.
€35,000 foal, price rising to 50,000gns as a yearling; related to plenty of good winners and made an eyecatching debut when fourth here (Rolfe Rembrandt second) earlier in the month; jockey booking suggests connections mean business.
Acclamation filly, 8,000gns foal, price rising to €35,000 as a yearling; half-sister to a 6f winner in Mild Illusion, yard have an 11% strike rate with their 2yos here; advice is to watch the market.
Acclamation filly, first foal, dam was a 5f winner at 2yo and she's bred to be sharp; yard starting to find their stride after a slow start, but only have a 6% strike rate with their 2yos here.

Forecasts
Bright Armor (5/2), Digital (11/4), Northbound (7/2), Rolfe Rembrandt (9/2), Ubettabelieveit (5/1), Yorkshire Pirlo (13/2), Mcmanaman (9/1), Rainbow's Pony (14/1), Scarboroughdebut (28/1), J R Cavagin (66/1)
DIGITAL made a good start to his career when an excellent second at Newcastle and this track should suit. He can take a step forward to score. Rolfe Rembrandt and Ubettabelieveit met here earlier in the month, with the former coming out on top, but on this likely quicker ground there could be little between them. Yorkshire Pirlo was another to make a solid introduction should progress. Northbound already has a win to his name but carrying the penalty for that today makes life harder.
- Digital
- Ubettabelieveit
- Yorkshire Pirlo
