Winner over 3m at Tipperary in July on good ground, six lesser runs under her belt since however and overall others looks more appealing at present.
Has been on the downgrade over fences and hurdles for the past year; has won plenty of races in the past and starting to look well handicapped but still hard to recommend with confidence.
Has been beaten by over 30 lengths each time in all her three hurdle starts to date; with any other trainer she could be easily passed over.
Found the trip too short last time at Thurles; had previously raced with some promise at Clonmel over a similar trip to this; looking reasonably handicapped; one for the shortlist if jumping can be relied upon.
Did win a race at Sligo in 2016 but has had problems since and has only raced seven more times and showed very little in either hurdles or chases; chance on best form at this level.
18-race national hunt maiden who has hit the frame on just one occasion from 14 starts over timber; improved performance recently after wind surgery at Limerick and should appreciate this step up in trip; one to note.
Broke maiden duck at Tramore three starts ago, but unable to follow that up; could deserve another chance off this mark after long break and worth a check in the market.
Has failed to place in eight outing at a racecourse including over fences on his penultimate start and in first-time blinkers last time; connections running out of ideas.
Long standing maiden but has run some fair races in defeat in her career; lack consistency and tends to need a run before getting competitive; likely similar story today.
Mixed messages in a number of starts over hurdles in maiden and handicap company last season. Needs to improve significantly if playing a role in the finish here.
A record of one placed effort from 10 career starts over hurdles does not inspire much confidence especially as the gelding has been off the track for nearly a year.
Has obliged to hit the frame on just the one occasion in 13 career starts over hurdles. First time cheekpieces failed to bring any improvement last time and difficult to make a strong case for.
Well beaten in all her races to date but did show some promise on her second start at Cartmel last August; difficult to assess first time in handicap but err on the side of caution with the filly not having been seen since September.
Reserve 1 Well beaten when never a factor in four career starts starts over hurdles between August and October last year; improved form recently at Limerick; interesting.

The overall form of FRIARY GOLD does not make him the obvious winner of this contest but the gelding showed improved form last time at Limerick following wind surgery and if continue his progression, should go well. Subset looks well handicapped at present and is likely to appreciate this trip more than last time at Thurles. His jumping needs to improve. Isosceles showed improved form last and could be interesting if getting a run.
- Friary Gold
- Subset
- Rathnaleen Tou
