Deans Road246
Age: 11|  Weight: 12-1| J: D P Holden(7)| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  135| D
28/1
Gained fourth career win over fences when landing a Tipperary handicap over 2m3f last July but well held since and trainer looks to have clearer chance with Visioman today.

Horse silk
Thecraicisninetyp253
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-10| J: Mark Walsh| T: P Roche| OR:  130
14/1
Generally a consistent sort over fences and hurdles; was starting to run into some better form in last few races of last season; decent chance if not running into any better handicapped rivals.
3
Horse silk
Visioman184
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-9| J: Rachael Blackmore| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  129| CD
9/2
Has won two of his four starts over fences including over course and distance; has a progressive look about him and appears to have an excellent chance unless ground gets any softer.
4

From Edenb,t120
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: D N Russell| T: G Elliott| OR:  125| D
14/1
Another reasonably consistent chaser and a winner of this trip; needs to bounce back from marginally disappointing run last time at Leopardstown but respected nevertheless.
5

Ice Cold Soulp118
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-4| J: E Walsh(7)| T: N Meade| OR:  124
11/1
Won competently at Thurles in January over 2m5f but has struggled slightly off his revised handicap mark; edging down towards that mark and not without a chance on best of his form.
6
Horse silk
Victoria Bay123
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: Ricky Doyle(3)| T: C Bowe| OR:  123| D
5/1
Another consistent chaser who ran well in defeat last time at Clonmel where finishing runner-up (a bad jump close home cost her chance of victory), would appreciate more rain but can run well.
7
Horse silk
Brex Drago162
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-2| J: C P McNamara(5)| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  122| CD
20/1
Better hurdler than he is over fences. The gelding is yet to get off the mark in eight starts over the larger obstacles. Needs a few to falter and maybe more help from handicapper.

Horse silk
Carrig Cathalt278
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-2| J: K J Brouder| T: S J Mahon| OR:  122| D
80/1
Winner at the eighth attempt over fences when landing a Ballinrobe handicap off an 2lb lower mark in May; well beaten in six subsequent starts over a variety of distances; chance but something prove.
9
Horse silk
A Place Apart15
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13| J: J M Moore| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  119| BF
14/1
Returned from a long absence to put up a useful performance over hurdles recently at Leopardstown; was once fairly progressive over fences and could run well if confidence is up.
10
Horse silk
Pass The Ball15
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-11| J: N P Madden| T: N Madden| OR:  117| BF| D
5/1
A winner at Bellewstown in 2018, but into the veteran stage now, and only lightly raced since; warmed up for this with fair recent effort on the Flat at Leopardstown; interesting especially if market support.

Horse silk
Reach Upb,t214
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-9| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: J P Ryan| OR:  115
28/1
Has been very busy over the summer and early autumn since winning a Punchestown handicap over two miles; now back below that mark and while not in the best of form is quietly respected.
12
Horse silk
Bridge Nativet100
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-3| J: C J Orr(5)| T: Mrs D A Love| OR:  109
10/1
Has been in uber consistent form since the turn of the year over fences and hurdles; suspicion is she will find a couple too good off current mark but excellent place chances.
13
Horse silk
Rock Road275
Age: 8|  Weight: 9-12| J: Brian Hayes| T: W P Mullins| OR:  104
4/1
Always seems to run well at this track and has been placed on all his three chase appearances here; not particularly well handicapped but respected from top yard.

Forecasts

Rock Road (4/1), Visioman (9/2), Victoria Bay (5/1), Pass The Ball (5/1), Bridge Native (10/1), Ice Cold Soul (11/1), Thecraicisninety (14/1), A Place Apart (14/1), From Eden (14/1), Brex Drago (20/1), Reach Up (28/1), Deans Road (28/1), Carrig Cathal (80/1)

Verdict

VISIOMAN has looked progressive over fences in his short career and this course and distance winner would not have to improve too much to land this contest for his powerful stable. The main worry for connections will be how fit he is after a 150+ day absence. and if underfoot conditions change. Victoria Bay is consistent enough to gain respect. Her chance will be multiplied if the ground eases appreciably. The chance of Pass The Ball should be reflected in the market. Bottom weight Rock Road always seems to run well at this track and while his current handicap mark is a slight concern, he may run well.
  1. Visioman
  2. Victoria Bay
  3. Rock Road
