He looked a possible winner in the closing stages of a valuable handicap at the Cheltenham Festival last time. Only the fitting of a first-time tongue-tie and visor may be a slight negative. Pepperoni Pete has been off the boil in recent appearance on the Flat but showed enough in his two hurdles appearances to suggest he is capable of winning races. Patchouli has been given time to develop by her trainer and can go well.
