Ran a cracker on his return when runner-up in a 1¼m handicap at Yarmouth, and unlucky not to finish much closer in King George V Handicap at Ascot last week. Can make amends here.

Son of Mukhadram who ran his best race when 4L third of 11 to Quickthorn in a 1m3f maiden at Kempton last time. Should do better, but handicapper appears to have erred on side of caution with opening mark.

Yet to win, but has run creditably on both handicap starts this year, appreciating stiffer test when second of 4 to Stag Horn over 1¾m at Goodwood last time. Will remain competitive, but drop in trip isn't ideal.

Upped markedly to this trip, and duly left previous form behind when beating Isayalittleprayer at Lingfield (AW) on handicap bow. Overcame positional bias there, and can continue to give a good account.

Forecasts

Bodyline (4/5), Bondi Sands (11/4), Billhilly (9/2), Atlantic Crossing (12/1)

Verdict

BODYLINE did not get the best of rides at Royal Ascot having shaped like a winner in waiting on his previous start. Luke Morris is likely to keep things simple this time, and he looks a cut above his rivals, of whom Billhilly looks the pick. The bottom-weight came from further back than ideal when winning on his handicap bow over this trip, and he can chase the selection home, especially as Bondi Sands would ideally prefer a stiffer test.
