Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap

Class 5  |   4f 217y  |   Good to Firm  |   5 Runners  |   Turf

Weighed In

Off time: 17:01  |   Winning time: 56.56s

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-10  |  J: A Kirby |  T: D M Loughnane|  OR: 77

Made all to score in a fillies handicap at Kempton in March and reappearance run there earlier in the month will have blown the cobwebs away; yet to win at 5f but has the speed for it, and she has a punchers chance.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-7  |  J: E J Walsh |  T: P D Evans|  OR: 74|  D

Made all to score over 5f at Wolverhampton last December and has run respectably since then, including on reappearance at Wolverhampton earlier in the month; starting to come down in the handicap and will be winning again soon.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-7  |  J: George Rooke |  T: M Appleby|  OR: 68|  D

Scored with plenty in hand on second start for this yard at Chelmsford last week, coming away late for a 3l win; only has a 6lb penalty for that and if transferring that form to the turf, looks the one to beat here.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-6  |  J: S W Kelly |  T: Rae Guest|  OR: 73|  BF|  D

Was improving nicely before the enforced break, winning one at Chelmsford and runner-up either side of that, going close; obvious player if she can pick up where she left off, although another that will probably want the lead here.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2  |  J: Cieren Fallon |  T: R A Teal|  OR: 69

Placed on two of his four starts to date but was already coming under pressure when hampered at Wolverhampton on reappearance, last of eight; possibly best to forgive that but hasn't achieved what a few of them here have, and best watched.

Sampers Seven (7/4), Autumn Trail (2/1), Capla Spirit (5/2), Heer We Go Again (5/1), Rocking Reg (7/1), Buy Me Back (8/1)

Only the six of them but this promises to be fast and furious from the start, and that might suit SAMPERS SEVEN, a ready winner at Chelmsford last time out. He can sit behind the pacesetters before picking them off late. Heer We Go Again is coming down to a mark that's more workable and looks the danger, with Buy Me Back winning the race for bronze.
