Well beaten in three starts so far this year most recently when 8L eighth over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in March. Probably best watched dropping back in distance.
Recorded his third victory on the AW when victorious by ¾L in a handicap over this trip at Kempton ten days ago. Carries a 5lb penalty for that success and is one to note as he goes in search of a first victory on turf.
Broke his maiden at the fifth attempt when winning over this trip at Dundalk by ½L last October. Well beaten upped in trip subsequently and blinkers worn for the first time that day are absent on stable debut and first start since wind surgery.
Good effort in finishing third to Takeonefortheteam over this trip at Kempton last week. Beaten 3¼L on that occasion and is one to note having placed on all three previous starts on turf.
Ran well when finishing 3L second in a 1m handicap at Pontefract (good) earlier this month. Tried to make all that day and is one for the shortlist racing off the same mark with a hood tried for the first time.
Winner of two of his last three starts for previous trainer Kevin Frost including by 1½L over this trip at Newcastle in March. Raised 3lb for that success and makes his turf and stable debut in this contest.
Making his seasonal debut when finishing 2¼L fourth in a 7f handicap at Newcastle at the start of this month. Races off a 2lb lower mark here and is a notable runner for a top yard.
Victorious three times on turf and finished a fair fifth at Thirsk (1m, good) last week on his first start since the resumption of racing. Well handicapped on his old form having won off a 22lb higher mark in the past.
