Off the mark at the fourth time of asking when landing a handicap over 7f on the AW at Dundalk in September. Mixed messages in a number of starts since and needs to improve on stable debut at Leopardstown over 1m earlier this month.

11-race maiden without a win in 10 starts on turf. Well held in a couple of starts earlier this month at Gowran Park and in a Naas 1m handicap on Saturday. Others look open to more improvement.

Solid and consistent in a number of starts over the winter on the AW at Dundalk. Last success on turf came in a Bellewstown handicap over 1m in July 2016 off a mark of 78. Capable of a big run.

Running well in defeat in a number of starts on the AW at Dundalk around the turn of the year. Worth a market check on stable debut, first run since leaving the yard of John O'Shea.

Winner of eight of her 68 career starts with the mare still looking for a breakthrough success in 18 efforts on turf. Ran well in defeat on seasonal debut behind Amazing One over C&D earlier this month. Leading contender.

Running well in defeat in a couple of starts on the AW surface at Dundalk in January/February before the break. Worthy of consideration in this company given her second of 18 over C&D two years ago.

Finished well adrift of Mulzamm in a 7f handicap at Gowran Park on return to action earlier this month. May take more than the booking of leading jockey to get off the mark for the nine-race maiden who is yet to hit the frame in four starts on turf.

Winner of one of her three starts over C&D, the victory coming in a handicap on good to firm ground two years ago off a similar mark. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Looks to have pitiful form on paper with the gelding yet to hit the frame in 12 career starts including five starts on turf. Looks opposable on seasonal return.

Saves most of his best performances nowadays for the AW at Dundalk. Last of 12 beaten over 9L over C&D earlier this month and very little to be positive about going in to this contest.

Forecasts

Crystal Dawn (11/4), Tribal Path (9/2), Lady Sonia (5/1), Pulsating (13/2), La Novia (7/1), Rain Or Shine (8/1), Rudisha (10/1), Pedro De Styles (14/1), Minor Melody (33/1), Farnese (40/1), Red All Star (80/1)

Verdict

TRIBAL PATH can win for the fourth time on turf on his 84th career start. The 10-year-old has been solid and consistent in a number of starts over the winter on the AW at Dundalk and could get a soft lead in this contest to see off Crystal Dawn on debut for trainer Gavin Cromwell. The six-year-old Conor O'Dwyer-trained Pulsating ran well in defeat on seasonal debut behind Amazing One over C&D earlier this month and can once again produce another bold bid. In a wide-open contest Rain Or Shine and Lady Sonia look capable of hitting the frame.
  1. Tribal Path
  2. Crystal Dawn
  3. Pulsating
