A mid-race stumble perhaps was costly for DEVIL'S ANGEL at Ripon over the weekend, given he finished fast to be beaten a head. He's turned out quickly from the same mark here, while Megan Nicholls can take a useful 3lb off, and compensation may await Jedd O'Keeffe's charge in a weak looking race. Socru won first time out last season at Doncaster and is rated 4lb lower here, so needs a close look; while Global Humor and Phantasmal have place claims.
