Depandable veteran that wins in his turn, happy at both 5f/6f and goes on most ground; has won fresh in the past so absence of no issue, but might still be a tad high in the handicap.
Found some form in the spring of 2019 to win a couple of handicaps, but found life a lot harder off his revised mark after that; now only 1lb higher than last win though, conditions ideal and yard starting to fire, so chances if fit on reappearance,
Winner for Owen Burrows off a mark of 77 at Wolverhampton last year, since then has been gelded and changed hands; no show on first run for the yard at Beverley two weeks ago and may need more time to settle in.
Good record at the track, two wins and two places from five starts here, goes on most ground but happiest with a bit of cut; still 3lb above last winning mark but yard going well now, and this venue does bring him alive.
Effective at both 5f/6f and on most ground, shaped well enough on reappearance at Wolverhampton (6f) to suggest there's a race in her soon, especially if settling better; not without hope from a workable mark.
One win in 10 starts for Charles Hills, but went off the boil; switch to a new yard had an immediate effect when almost making all at Newcastle earlier in the month, caugth final strides; still very well handicapped and a repeat takes him close.
Better on the all-weather surfaces than turf, but is unbeaten in two starts here, so this is a happy hunting ground for him; very well handicapped on turf, but tends to need a run after a break to put him right; still hard to rule out, though.
Wins in her turn, came good at Nottingham from 1lb higher (soft ground) last October, and having her first start at the track here; looked on the way back to form when second at Chepstow last week, and should go well if repeating.
Hard to win with but frequently runs well in big field 6f/7f handicaps; this 5f trip probably on the sharp side for him these days and likely to need the run after an absence, so others make more appeal today.
Wonderful servant to the yard and still wins his share on the all-weather surfaces, but possibly flying a bit too high in this grade back on turf, and he still looked in need of another run or two when well beaten at Chelmsford two weeks ago.

Alsvinder would have been a lot more interesting if he'd had a recent run, as he likes the track and might get the lead here, but he invariably needs a run to blow the cobwebs away, and so MANSHOOD gets the vote for a yard going better now. He too likes the track and could be well drawn, and with a good pace on up front, he can come through late to win, Bellevarde has travelled some way to race here and she comes here on the back of a good effort at Chepstow, so should go close if repeating. Glory Fighter may have more to offer his new connections and is worth a second look.
