KRAKEN POWER did little wrong in finishing second on debut at Pontefract nine days ago, pulling a long way clear of the remainder and just getting inched out when conceding 7lb to the winner. That experience will stand to him and he looks capable of going one better now. Mark Johnston's filly Salsoul, along with fellow newcomers Bergerac and Abduction, need to be monitored for market confidence.
