Both wins have come on AW 5f and was decent second at Chelmsford at that trip recently. Return to turf shouldn't be an issue and extra furlong within his compass so should be thereabouts.
Finished fast at Lingfield on return over this trip running off this mark but all four wins have come at 7f and suspicion he may just find one or two too good for him at this trip.
Came from some way back to finish on the heels of the leaders on return at Chelmsford two weeks ago and off 2lb lower and with champion apprentice claiming further 3lb looks set to take a hand in proceedings this time.
Out of luck on AW this winter having scored at Bath 5.5f in October. Not seen since March and usually needs a run or two to blow cobwebs away so others are preferred on this occasion.
Won 6f Southwell maiden in February for Ivan Furtado and made winning start for current handler when leading close home in Lingfield 6f h'cap recently off 5lb lower mark. Relatively unexposed so there could be more to come on turf debut.
Won Lingfield 6f novice last term on only starts to date on turf and won again on handicap bow at Kempton following start. Failed to shine in four runs after but 1lb below last winning mark and should be better for recent outing.
Seven-time winner at 6f-1m and ran well on reappearance when second off this mark at Kempton 12 days ago. Has won before over C&D and with decent apprentice takes off 5lb has reasonable claims from a fair draw.
Last win came at Epsom in 2019 off 3lb higher mark over this trip and should be better for a pipe-opener at Lingfield the other day. Often needs a couple of runs though before finding best form so will do well to win here on that basis.
Only wins have come at 5f and had frustrating time last term kncoking on the door on several occasions at 6f. Slightly hampered last time inside final furlong when fifth to Badayel and now 7lb better off with that rival for two-and-a-half lengths.
Slow starter but often finishes with a flourish and ran well on return to the fray when third at Newbury off current mark. Good 5lb claimer booked here but needs to get the breaks at the right time as he comes through runners.
Stable companion of Mamillus. Frustrating sort but did nothing wrong when beaten a nose at Goodwood recently and deserves his day in the sun at some point this campaign. Runs off the same mark.
Kempton 6f novice winner in November but has looked to be in handicapper's grip since then. Kept on when fair third at Goodwood last week but may need to come down a few pounds before adding to his tally.
In terrific AW form during winnter winning three and finishing second five times. Rated 22lb lower on turf but was solid third at HQ last week off this mark and will not be far away once again.

A closely knit sprint handicap and much will depend, as ever in these races, on who gets the gaps at the right time. BADAYEL has done well on artificial surfaces and is competely unexposed on turf having never raced before on this surface. He looks worth taking a chance on. Among a host of other contenders, The Lamplighter went agonisingly close last week and will not be far away again, while Spanish Star, Whelans Way, Rasheeq and Sandridge Lad are among a number of others who can be expected to be in the mix at the business end of the contest.
