Showed signs of abilty on debut run at Naas in April 2019 but two disappointing runs since including recently (also at Naas) does not suggest he will be up to this on handicap debut.

Experienced and generally consistent 11-race maiden; steps up to this trip for the first time and perhaps that will be the key for the three-year-old filly; possibilities.

Still lightly raced but has not really shown too much in six career starts to date; another one stepping up in trip and perhaps that will be the answer for the Gutaifan filly.

Landed a hat-trick of wins when scoring at Wolverhampton in February; showed his well being when runner-up over course and distance last week; might not want the ground to be too slow but definite chance.

Has only beaten a handful of horses home on his three career starts to date; would be a major surprise if this colt is good enough on handicap debut in first-time blinkers.

Raced very green on debut at Newmarket when with George Scott in October; two reasonable runs on the AW at Dundalk for new connections either side of the New Year suggest she might make into a useful handicapper.

Can now take his chances in handicaps following three underwhelming performances at Killarney, Galway and the Curragh; difficult to assess and probably best watched at present.

Six-race maiden yet to hit the frame in four starts on turf since her debut on the surface in a Fairyhouse maiden over 12 months ago in May last year. Appears vulnerable even in this company.

Stepped up on all known form to finish third over course and distance last week; he ran on well in that contest despite hanging noticeably left under pressure; one of the more likely winners.

Has shown very little talent on three starts to date including last time out earlier this month when losing all chance at the start of the race; hard to recommend on all known form.

Has failed to shine in any of his three starts to date; obviously open to improvement and will do better now in handicaps but probably best watched currently.

Stepped up on all previous form on handicap debut last time at Gowran Park; was doing her best work in the closing stages of that contest and this step up in trip should suit; one for shortlist.

Verdict

LITTLE BROTHER showed he had wintered well when leaving all previous form behind him to run an excellent race over course and distance last week. With that experience under his belt and a bit more luck in-running, he can go close. Ahead of him that day (but worse off at the weights now) was Dazzling Darren who had been in sparkling form on the AW. He was a little unlucky in this race and another bold bid from the front can be expected. Towards the bottom of the weights is Divine Celt. The filly ran a much improved race last time at Gowran Park and with the step up in trip expected to suit, she has good claims.
  1. Little Brother
  2. Dazzling Darren
  3. Divine Celt
