Off the mark for connections at the 13th time of asking when landing a 2m3f hurdle off a 7lb lower mark when last seen in March on his 10th start over timber. Another bold bid is likely.
Won at the ninth attempt over hurdles when landing a maiden contest over C&D in November. Ran well in defeat on handicap debut next time out at Leopardstown in December. Will look to progress in this company.
Regressing chaser winner of five of his 20 starts over the larger obstacles. Yet to hit the frame in three starts over timber and hard to see the veteran producing the required amount of improvement to get involved here.
Missed a year before returning to action at this venue in December over 2m4f, well beaten. Produced a couple of desperate efforts over the larger obstacles in February/March this year with a vast amount of improvement needed to play a role.
Landed a couple of hunter chases in May last year before two point-to-point victories in January/February this year. Last seen pulling up in the Foxhunters at the Cheltenham festival in March. Market likely to be the best guide.
91-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Andrew Balding. Finished 12L adrift of Burning Victory in the Grade 1 Triumph hurdle at the Cheltenham festival in March. Ran well in defeat on the Flat recently and should be fully tuned for this test.
11-race maiden on the Flat, rated a lowly 45. Last seen in September when never a threat in a 7f contest at Cork. Not one to place a great deal of faith in.
Useful 65-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Ed Dunlop. Last seen finishing last of seven runners over 1m2f in a Brighton 4k handicap. Market likely to be the best guide on stable and hurdling debut.

Trainer Charles Byrnes appears to have found an ideal opportunity for his Born To Sea gelding POSEIDON to get back to winning ways here. The six-year-old won over C&D in November landing the spoils on soft/heavy ground in November and can hold off the attentions of the likes of the Gordon Elliott-trained Battle Of Wills, winner of a Naas 2m maiden hurdle in January. Winner of a Downpatrick 2m3f handicap hurdle when last seen in March, Benefit North and the John McConnell-trained Never Do Nothing can compete for remaining prize money.

- Battle Of Wills
