Won his first two starts on the AW, although all out to justify short odds on latter occasion, and failed to improve when a respectable fourth of 9 to Global Storm over C&D on handicap debut. Must raise his game, for all this rates an easier test.
Won second time out at Newcastle over 7f in January, and was far from disgraced when sixth of 12 to Celestran in a competitve handicap at Yarmouth (1¼m) recently. Remains capable of better, and not taken lightly.
Made all for winning debut at Bath (1m) in September before getting mugged on the line at Newcastle. Well behind Union on handicap debut at Yarmouth last time, however, and has a bit to prove now.
Won a 7f Yarmouth maiden on his second start. Disappointed at Wolverhampton next time, but has been gelded since, and no surprise to see him get back on track now tackling handicaps at a trip which should suit.
Promise on debut over an inadequate trip here, and improved when 1¼L fourth of 10 to Hold Fast in a 1¼m maiden at Kempton last time. Handicapper has been generous, and he looks a big player on handicap bow.

MAFIA POWER lacks experience, but he's been given a big chance by the handicapper at the first time of asking, and he coped well with soft ground here on debut, so gets a confident vote. Union ran in what looks a hot handicap at Yarmouth on his return, and is respected, while Glorious Caesar is on a hat-trick after two AW wins, and it's dangerous to assume he won't be so good on turf.
