Ran up a hat-trick last August at around 1m4f, on good or softer. The last of those, at Catterick, came from a 3lb lower mark. Went off the boil when upped in grade on final three starts. Yet to win when fresh and more needed from this mark.
Nine-race maiden, but has some solid form to his name over 1m-1m2f. Returned to action with a good effort at Newmarket (1m2f, good to firm) recently, on his stable debut, and he looks well worth a try over this longer trip. Probable player.
Has run well over C&D on soft and won over this trip at Pontefract. 3lb lower than the latter, which was in 2018, though only win since then was over hurdles. Well held on reappearance in this code recently, but would be a contender if at his best.
Multiple winner at up to 1m4f, but has been on the slide since his last win in 2017. Showed he can still be very competitive from this mark when under 2L third at Kempton recently. Slow ground no concern, so can't write him off.
1m2f winner in France (good) in 2018. Also scored over hurdles (2m) for this trainer last August. Acts on soft. Off the track since a third in a Catterick handicap hurdle in January. Not badly treated and another who needs a market check.
Dual good ground hurdles winner at 2m4f-2m5½f (stays 3m) last year, for Dan Skelton. Not seen for 11-months and has since had wind surgery and changed hands privately. Placed in four of five Flat starts at up to 1m4f. Interesting from this mark.
Scored over 1m2f at Yarmouth in 2018, when with Hugo Palmer. Was consistent in defeat last season and made a step up on that on stable debut at Haydock (good to soft). Takes step into the unknown trip-wise here, but could be a big player.
Although held in both handicaps since she joined this trainer from Richard Fahey, she is not yet fully exposed now returning to turf. May be more to come. Gets this trip, but does have a bit to prove on slow ground.
7f AW/1m turf winner when trained by Joseph O'Brien. Changed hands last July, but has so far been some way short of that form for this trainer. Gelded and has had wind surgery since last seen in October, so that may help, but has stamina to prove.
1-17, his sole win coming when with Mark Johnston at Musselburgh (1m4½f, good; 3lb lower mark) in 2018. Acts on soft. Some respectable form in defeat last year. Should be better for step back up in trip here, but may have to wait for other days.
Multiple winner from 1m2f-1m5f. 3lb higher than his latest success which came for Karen Tutty at Beverley (1m2f, soft) last September. Since changed hands privately. Yet to win when fresh, so perhaps he is one to watch on this return from a break.

Several in here have claims, with the suggestion being SOLO SAXOPHONE. With some cut in the ground, there may be a greater emphasis placed on stamina than is sometimes the case at this track, and with that side of his game proven, plus some solid previous Flat form to his name, he could be the one today. Sudona looks interesting now trying this trip for the first time, but by contrast she will have her reserves of stamina tested. Baryshnikov, Noble Gift, Ventura Dragon and Dariya are all of interest, while Cool Possibility can't be ruled out back on turf.
