Six-race maiden, career best effort came on debut in a 7f maiden on the AW at Dundalk in November 2018. Yet to hit the frame in four starts on turf and looks a tough ask from top weight on stable debut.

120-rated handicap hurdler the New Approach gelding is without a win in nine Flat starts but did hit the frame on sole start on turf. Needs a few to falter.

Added to a win in December by landing a claimer on the AW at Dundalk when last seen in March over a similar trip on his final start for trainer Joseph O'Brien. Open to more progress.

Six-race maiden, well held on sole start on turf at Bellewstown over 1m last July. Has moved yards and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Seven-race maiden who has disappointed since promising debut behind 2000 Guineas winner Magna Grecia. Has left the yard of Ger Lyons, could be worth a market check on stable debut.

Daughter of Doyen is a 109 rated handicap hurdler, still to hit the frame in five starts on the Flat including on sole turf start. Hard to make a case for on handicap debut.

Registered a first turf success when victorious over 1m2f at Navan last July off an 11lb lower mark. Capable of a big run with step up in trip likely to bring out some improvement.

12-race maiden still looking for a breakthrough success in nine starts on turf when in the care of trainer David Lanigan. Not the most reliable of sort and others hold stronger claims in this contest.

Useful handicapper on the Flat but well held in a number of starts over the course of last summer. Has hit the frame at this venue in the past and could be interesting now racing 5lb lower than last winning mark.

Regressive form on the Flat, and yet to prove she stays much beyond 1m in a number of below-par efforts so far. No realistic chance based on what she has shown so far.

Verdict

The John McConnell-trained HAPPAUGUE can land a hat-trick of wins in the closing contest. The Morpheus gelding got off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections when landing a handicap over a similar trip on the AW at Dundalk in January before following that victory up in good style when last seen in March off a 12lb lower mark. The four-year-old can hold off the attentions of the Charles Byrnes-trained Wajaaha who had good form for previous handlers Saeed Bin Suroor and Denis Hogan. Grace To Grace for trainer Joseph O'Brien and Will Be King on debut for Gerard O'Leary can compete for remaining prize money.
