Red Jazz filly. Hints of encouragement in a number of starts when in the care of trainer Sheila Lavery. Not easily dismissed on stable debut in first time hood.

Running a number of solid and consistent efforts on the AW at Dundalk and when last seen at Wolverhampton in November. Worthy of interest with possible significant jockey booking.

Failed to land a hat-trick of victories when finishing fourth of six runners in a Lingfield 1m2f handicap as the 15/8 beaten favourite. Too early to be writing off just yet and holds solid place claims in this company.

Very little encouragement in four career starts to date including on handicap debut in a Naas 7f contest when last seen in November. Others more appealing on the balance of starts to date.

Colt by Epaulette of a Diesis mare. Dismal efforts in three career starts to date when sent off at big prices between January and February this year before running accordingly on each occasion. Looks vulnerable in this company.

Hallowed Crown gelding, well beaten and no impression in three career starts so far including when last seen on the AW at Dundalk in November. Worth a check in the market on handicap debut.

Five-race maiden yet to trouble the judge on each occasion since making his debut in August last year. Vast improvement needed to worry his main rivals on third handicap start.

Cheap €1,000 purchase as a yearling, by French Navy. Never a factor in three career starts to date. Beaten 22L when last seen in a Naas 6f maiden in November and difficult to make a case for on handicap debut.

Third Reserve: Power colt out of a Fasliyev mare. Cost €78,000 as a yearling. Will only have disappointed connections so far in three dismal maiden efforts between August and October last year.

Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained CALIDUS MIRABILIS failed to land a hat-trick of wins at Lingfield in February but can get back to winning ways on return to turf action. The gelding still looks on a reasonable mark and can get the better of his nearest rivals in the shape of the Gerard O'Leary-trained Adamaris who has the eye-catching booking of Shane Foley on board and the Noel Meade-trained Jeff Kidder who will be capable of shaking off a number of dismal maiden efforts as he makes his handicap debut here. **Dazzling Darren for trainer Gavin Cromwell should be noted if making the line-up.
  1. Calidus Mirabilis
  2. Adamaris
  3. Jeff Kidder
