Zoffany colt out of a Listed winner made winning debut at Newmarket in November over 7f in soft ground in race where form is a bit patchy. Did it nicely though and a bold bid quite likely once again stepping up in trip.

By Galileo but plenty of pace on the dam's side and was sharp enough to win at the first time of asking over 7f at Newmarket in November on testing ground. Form of that race hasn't really worked out but top connections always feared.
Very interesting Dubawi newcomer out of dam who won UAE 1,000 Guineas. Could be anything and top yard can get them ready first time so market signals will be well worth noting.

Poet's Voice gelding who showed little in two starts last term over a mile and has to find a lot of improvement if he's to make an impression in this company.

200,000gns son of Derby winner Pour Moi out of decent dam who won at up to 1m2f. Gelded following only start last term in which he finished moderate 11th of 14 in Kempton 1m maiden. Much more needed.

Golden Horn half-brother to Group 1 winner Veracious and Group 2 1m2f winner Mutakayyef. Showed some promise when 6th of 13 in Kempton mile maiden last autumn but returns now following wind surgery and wearing first-time tongue-tie.

Frankel colt, half-brother to Group 3 Australian winner. Good effort only start last summer in 7f HQ maiden when second to classy Military March, fourth in 2000 Guineas last week. Wears tongue-tie for first time but not be lightly dismissed.

Jacksonian (9/4), Louganini (5/2), Tuscan Gaze (7/2), Galata Bridge (13/2), Arabian Warrior (7/1), Cozone (33/1), Mystery Mac (50/1), Wand (66/1), Cloud Thunder (250/1)

Verdict

In receipt of weight from the previous winners the Frankel colt JACKSONIAN is taken to build on a fine second to Military March on his only start so far. He will appreciate the step up in trip and can land this finale. Louganini and Tuscan Gaze won Newmarket maidens in soft ground on the same November card but the form of both races doesn't look anything special. Nonetheless, they both have ability and could make a bold bid under their respective penalties. The Dubawi newcomer Arabian Gaze is feared being out of a useful mare, while Galata Bridge didn't run at all badly on debut at Kempton last term and may have benefitted from a subsequent wind operation.
  1. Jacksonian
  2. Louganini
  3. Arabian Warrior
