Won handicaps at Hamilton and Doncaster last season and grabbed some black type when third in a French Listed event after that. 11lb higher since last handicap win but was solid fourth at Newcastle last week after struggling to find a gap.
Won 3 of last 5 starts on turf going up 10lb in the process. Failed to shine in three AW starts after but back on this surface comes into the reckoning if fit. Stable runners have looked as though an outing would bring them on so far though.
Improved nicely last term winning three handicaps at up to 1m3f and returns for new term having been gelded during the winter. C&D success last spring shows he likes it here and may be a player if fully wound up on first start back.
Progressed very well last season winning four times (three on AW). Good fourth in October off 1lb higher in decent York handicap so returns on seemingly fair mark. Stable have had a winner since the return to action.
Wide margin C&D winner last April off 83 then went in again at Newmarket off 91 a month later. Failed to add to that but seems to go well fresh and the long absence may have been to his benefit. No surprise to see him go close.
2-3 in Ireland for Dermot Weld but failed to add to that for Marcus Tregoning last season. Makes debut for new connections and isn't the easiest to assess. May be better for this first spin of the campaign.
Won three for this handler in younger days but failed to win again for both Ian Williams and David Simcock. Back to original trainer now and has to prove he still retains all his ability.
Last win came in October 2018 over 1m4f at Leicester off 97. Has won over this trip in past and is at best on good or easy ground. Handicapped to go well if fit and has twice scored following a break in the past. Jockey has 15% win rate for yard.
Won first two races last season over 1m then failed to go on, including at this trip. May be best fresh so with yard in good nick is not out of this although still has stamina to prove.

Moll Davis (6/4), Aweedram (7/2), Breath Caught (11/2), You're Hired (6/1), Just The Man (17/2), Restorer (10/1), Lunar Jet (10/1), Star Of Southwold (12/1), Lawn Ranger (18/1), Badenscoth (22/1), Mutaabeq (40/1)
Many of these tend to improve for a run but LUNAR JET won over C&D first time out last season and goes well fresh so just gets the verdict. You're Hired is interesting at the foot of the weights with Ryan Moore in the plate, and another course and distance winner Just The Man could have more to offer. Moll Davis failed to get a run when needed at Newcastle last week but still ran well and a bold show is anticipated, while Badenscoth had a good 2019 campaign and more progress this season would not surprise.
