Won first two starts last season over 6f on good to firm, despite almost throwing the race away at Doncaster, before disappointing effort in Group 3 Cornwallis here (5f, good to soft; 5-1). Has had a wind op over the winter; tough off top weight.
Sandown maiden winner last July and produced a fine effort to be close third in Group 3 Cornwallis here (5f, good to soft; 20-1) on final start in October. Filly is likely to make further progress this season.
Dual novice winner last year, including over C&D (good to firm) and acquitted himself well in pair of pattern races thereafter. Likely sort this season and returns with the Johnston yard already flying since racing resumed.
Two wins in six starts last season, both over 6f; well held in Group 2 Al Biddah Mile Stakes at Doha over 1m (good) in February and overall form needs improving on to defy this mark.
Windsor and Goodwood winner last summer before no-show in valuable York nursery (6f, good; 12-1) from this mark. Very possible he'll leave that run behind him and make strides forward this summer for in-form yard that also runs Huraiz.
Improved with racing last year, backing up Windsor novice success in July with ready Kempton Polytrack win (both 6f) in August. Rated 9lb higher on return to action but is another with plenty upside and Ryan Moore booked to ride helps.
Was completing a hat-trick when winning the Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes over 5f (good to soft) at Newbury in July last, but she found things much tougher in two further starts; including over C&D. Needs to improve to score from this mark.
Kodiac colt improved in the autumn to win minor contests at Newbury and Kempton both over 6f; doing so with something in hand latterly. Exciting prospect and should be in the firing line for this.
Twice runner-up before opening account with 6f novice success on the Tapeta at Newcastle in November (form knocked afterwards). Entitled to be an improved performer after the break and market check required.

Some promising three-year-old's here and it should prove a very competitive affair. Mark Johnston's team are flying since racing returned and HURAIZ looks the sort to go well. A C&D winner in August, he twice acquitted himself in better company after and should have further progress in him this season. Similar sentiments for stablemate Homespin, King Ragnar and Jouska but perhaps the main danger will be Smokey Bear, progressive in each of four starts last season (won twice) and destined for better things seemingly.
