Another complicated conundrum for backers to solve with Fifth Position an obvious leading contender given that he may be a better proposition this year as a 4yo. However he does have to give weight to all bar one of his rivals and the course winner SANDRET is preferred especially if he gets a well run race and he’s reportedly an individual who goes well fresh. Sir Busker is another interesting type who is the same age as the suggestion although he too will need a good gallop to aim at to regain the winning thread. C&D winner Firmament is worthy of a second glance along with Irreverent who has proved successful before off a long absence in the past.
