Sole win in 13 starts at this venue came on his only start over C&D in February. His best efforts since the turn of the year have come in similar contests. Very much of interest at this level.

Winner of seven starts at this venue including three wins from five over C&D. Rated 17lb clear of his nearest rival in this contest and sets a decent standard in this company.

Four-race maiden for trainer Andrew Slattery last year between April and June. Well down the field on return to action at this venue over 6f when last seen in January. Others hold more appeal.

Winner of one of his five starts over C&D with his victory coming over two years ago. Hard to make a case for based on recent efforts and now racing 12lb lower than last winning mark.

10-race maiden yet to hit the frame on any occasion including three starts over C&D. Has a bit to prove at present.

Lightly raced gelding in the last couple of years and remains without a win in five career starts. First time visor unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Has a win to her name from seven starts at this track. Well beaten in last couple of starts here including a 10½L defeat over 6f last month. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow.

Winner at this track on four occasions including a couple of victories over C&D from 15 starts over the combination. Not won for over 12 months and is hard to fancy on overall evidence with others holding stronger claims.

Off the mark at the 15th attempt when making his first start over C&D off a 4lb lower mark. Well held over the same C&D since and is likely to find it tough going here.

Stamp Of Authorityt21

Winner on turf but yet to trouble the judge in 20 starts on various AW surfaces. Ran with credit on his latest start at this venue over 6f last month but looks opposable in this company.

Forecasts

Tony The Gent (10/11), Yuften (6/4), Northern Surprise (11/1), Stamp Of Authority (12/1), Pegasus Bridge (33/1), Glenmoore (33/1), Arcanecho (33/1), Cagey (33/1), My Lark (66/1), De Main Lady (66/1)

Verdict

YUFTEN is the clear and obvious selection as the nine-year-old searches for a 12th career win on the Flat. The Denis Hogan-trained gelding is well clear on the ratings and can land a fourth victory over C&D on his fifth start over the combination. Stablemate, the tough and genuine Tony The Gent looks next best following a number of solid efforts at this track since the turn of the year, his best performances coming in similar contests. Distance winner, Stamp Of Authority ran with credit on his most recent start at this venue last month can compete for the minor honours with C&D winner Pegasus Bridge who landed a shock win at odds of 50/1 last month.
