Twotwothree⁵²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: David England| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 119| D

2/1

Left his debut chase run well behind via a break to run out an easy winner at Bangor (eased clear, race fell apart) then followed up easily at Huntingdon (made mockery of 12lb rise). Better than his last two starts suggest; capable off this mark.

Form: 36-1136

Little Light^b1²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Bryony Le Clerc| T: L Wadham| OR: 117| D

6/4

Opened her chasing account on the back of a wind op plus the addition of cheekpieces at Leicester (2m, heavy), more convincing winner than winning margin. Two respectable efforts since without looking like winning; looks held off this mark.

Form: 274133

Chozen^h⁷⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR: 117| CD

9/2

Left his hurdles form behind when winning over C&D on first chasing attempt off a 10lb lower mark (October 2018). Ffos Las winner (2m, soft) off another absence early last year but lightly-raced since; folded quickly last time back from a wind op.

Form: 1U14-P0

Railroad Junkie^t⁹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 111| D

5/1

Has some useful chase form to his name in the past but has made little impact of late falling on his latest start. Jumping problems have blighted his chance of late and he comes with obvious hazards returning from an absence.

Form: 32-747F

Forecasts

Little Light (6/4), Twotwothree (2/1), Chozen (9/2), Railroad Junkie (5/1), Truckers Highway (8/1)

As with the opening handicap chase solid form is hard to find although TWOTWOTHREE has had excuses fir his last two performances that followed on from two wide-margin chase wins. Still looked in good heart last time in a far better race than this (effectively a 0-141); gets a good chance to return to winning ways on ground that he’s effective on. Little Light looks the main danger in first-time blinkers which may allow her to eke out some more progress. Chozen has generally been best fresh so a further break may allow him to return to his best on his second run back from a wind op.
