Ran out a ready winner here last summer and possible that he needed the run at Doncaster last month after his winter break; conditions here clearly no issue and better can be expected.
Bumper winner at Ayr last October before biting off a bit too much behind Israel Champ at Cheltenham, but a very solid first effort over hurdles in January, and but for a late mistake, would have gone close. Solid chance here.

Readily held in three starts so far, two bumpers and a hurdle; likely to do better at some point but this simply looks too tough.

Made a short price to score at Hintingdon last time but proved costly for followers, unseating late when leading; previous efforts give him every chance in this moderate contest.
Showed enough ability to win a little contest when fifth to the useful Buzz at Taunton in January but threw in a dismal effort at Doncaster after that. May be one to watch once handicapped after today.

Never in the hunt on her debut in a bumper at Fakenham last month; looks to need more time, and others readily preferred.

Some signs of ability on her bumper debut at Warwick in November but two starts since then not so good; in good hands and improvement likely at some point, but she needs it here.

Makes debut today; dam an unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Master Tommytucker, but yard not known for first time out winners.
With a top yard and there were possible signs of better to come when she ran through a few beaten ones at Warwick on her latest start, finishing midfield; place chances with another step forward.

Forecasts

Fearless (4/5), Dusty's Choice (9/4), Youracert (5/1), Hala Princess (16/1), Passing Shadow (25/1), Just Tara (50/1), Checkinforsquirels (66/1), Fabrication (66/1), Enchant Me (80/1)

Verdict

Probably only a handful to concentrate on, and of those DUSTY'S CHOICE makes the most appeal. He ran well at Newcastle on his hurdling debut and looked like taking a hand in the finish before a mistake at the last cost him his chance. Youracert already has a hurdles victory to his name but might find giving a penalty away a bit too much. Fearless looks the other with solid claims but an unseat last time (when a very short priced favourite) sounds a couple of alarm bells.
  1. Dusty's Choice
  2. Youracert
  3. Fearless
