Posted a career best effort on his sixth start over hurdles at Cork in January to finish second of 14 on soft ground; blinkered first time to help him concentrate at start (refused to line-up twice); chance if starting.

Seems to be slowly getting the hang of things over hurdles and showed a good attitude to finish runner-up last time at Clonmel; should be open to some improvement and will be winning a maiden hurdle at least before too long.

28/1
Kilbeggan bumper winner in July, ran well in defeat on hurdling debut in a Tramore maiden in August over 2m5f, finishing third of 12 beaten 1½L.; not exactly built on that in four runs since though slight improvement last time at Gowran Park.

Failed to impress in four appearances in point-to-points; never a factor on hurdling debut in a Navan 2m4f maiden on soft ground in December and last of 16 when last seen at Naas in January.

Stepped up on previous form to finish runner-up in a Limerick bumper in January and excuses last time at Navan; fair chance on hurdles debut though others have better chances.
Cost 100,000 euros just two years ago but has proved a frustrating sort; did win a weak Ballinrobe bumper in 2018 but two hurdles efforts since have been disappointing; maybe worth another go.
9
Horse silk
150/1
French import who showed little in that country over hurdles and fences; disappointing on Irish debut at Naas last month and difficult to recommend on that evidence.

11/2
Six-race maiden who has been running well in defeat in a couple of efforts in December and more recently at Down Royal; another fair effort last time at Punchestown suggests he is capable of winning his maiden sooner rather than later.

Horse silk
11/2
Grade 3 winner in France and shown promise in a handful of runs over hurdles; gets weight from most of her rivals and step up in trip should suit.
12
Horse silk
150/1
Dual point-to-point winner; hard to assess given her completion rate in bumpers and hurdles and finished 10/11 on chase debut at Thurles recently.

Verdict

ET DITE is well regarded and already a Grade 3 winner in France in a bumper. Her hurdles form has been respectable and now in the capable hands of Willie Mullins she should be ready to break her maiden tag. Stormy Judge has generally been running well in defeat and he could be the one to take advantage if the expected favourite fails to run her race. Vent D'Automne was an expensive purchase a few years back and although his hurdle form has been poor, he may deserve another chance.
