Had been in great form earlier this season winning three races and a good effort in a Grade 2 event here over 2m7f; needs to bounce back from poor performance last time where she jumped badly and ran in snatches.
Another who was in good form earlier in the season winning her maiden hurdle and a novice event; last two outings have been disappointing with different reasons offered; could go well if she is back to her best but difficult to be confident about.
Has the potential to be a high class staying hurdler; progressed through maidens this year to put up her best performance last time out at Leopardstown over 2m4f easily winning the mares event; step should be no problem and looks leading contender.
Rewarded for some consistent perfromances with victory last time out at Thurles in a handicap over 2m7f winning by a wide margin; open to further improvement and certainly one to consider.
Winner over 2m4f on hurdles bow at Punchestown (soft to heavy) in January but possibly had limitations exposed on next two outings at Fairyhouse and Leopardstown; should run her race but possibly outclassed here.
Has just had the two outings over hurdles but showed promise on both starts; this looks tough so early in her career but she is progressing nicely and not totally out of her depth - especially if jumping improves.
Had been showing progressive in not spectacular form over hurdles in recent months; recent non-runner for chase bow earlier this month; this looks a hard ask on basis of form shown to date.
Won 2m heavy ground maiden at Navan on only her second hurdles outing; open to bags of improvement but on balance she may not be good enough currently to play a leading role..
Has been patiently brought along winning a bumper at Galway in May before running three solid hurdles races without success up to November; back from a long break and hard to assess but will likely not be good enough.

Forecasts
Larquebuse (6/4), Well Set Up (4/1), Scarlet And Dove (9/2), Bay Ambition (5/1), Drury (8/1), Penny Out (12/1), Lady Breffni (14/1), Darrens Hope (33/1), Miss Pernickety (66/1), Majestic Maid (100/1)
LARQUEBUSE is well regarded and takes a step up in trip here but it may not stop the mare from adding to a recent victory at Leopardstown where she dominated her rivals. This could be a stepping stone to better things. Well Set Up has talent but still needs to learn to settle better in her races. If she is able to then she may give the selection most to do. Little else stands out in the way of being competitive with perhaps Lady Breffni being given a place chance should her jumping improve.
- Larquebuse
- Well Set Up
- Lady Breffni
