EVERLANES looks to be the form pick in this contest with the gelding arguably running two better races in defeat either side of winning at Taunton. If able to retain his form he may prove very hard to beat. Hurricane Arcadio has shown enough consistency in his last two outings to suggest he is capable of winning a race like this while Ultimatum Du Roy ran well in this race last year and is still well handicapped. His inconsistency does count against him, however.
