Plummeted down the weights but that has allowed him to recapture his form winning at Newcastle (1m4f) and here over 1m6f. Despite being beaten last time he's holding his firm better than usual; closely matched with Cool Possibility on his last run.

Sprang a 16-1 surprise in a jumpers bumper straight after wind surgery at Newcastle; had some fair Flat form in the past. Followed up that success to score over 1m6f here (first run on Fibresand); battled well, still low-mileage at staying trips.

Three-times a winner on turf his 2019 season was a very mixed bag in which he went without a win on the Flat or over hurdles. Returns from a long absence to receive his first taste of this surface, looks to have something to prove against race-fit ri

Produced a career-best when winning from a wide draw over 2m at Lingfield under a claimer putting up overweight returning to form from out of the blue. Profile would suggest that he could struggle to follow up under his penalty; Fibresand debut.

Forecasts

Cool Possibility (1/1), Accessor (9/4), Lord Howard (7/2), The Detainee (9/1)

The two that have run and won before on Fibresand clash again after COOL POSSIBILITY got the better of Accessor last time on his first try on this unique surface having landed a Newcastle jumpers bumper previously. That clash was over 2f shorter but Rebecca Menzies charge is expected to maintain his superiority and complete a hat-trick he looks to have a little more to offer in terms of progress. Neither of the other two have encountered Fibresand before and despite Lord Howard winning last time that win did come out of left field and he meets two who act well here as he gets his first Southwell experience under a 5lb penalty.
