With the in-form C&D winner Capla Spirit a non-runner it looks to open the way for MEWS HOUSE (also a C&D winner) to compete his hat-trick having opened his account here prior to wining over the minimum trip at Lingfield on a very different surface. He looks to have got the hang of things now having been beaten off lower marks in the past with a hat-trick bid now beckoning. Ladyleys Beluga also a C&D winner does need to bounce back from a poor display last time which could allow one of the Fibresand newcomers in Street Life to become the main danger. His Newcastle win was gained in a convincing manner and he could progress if handling the Fibresand.
