Struggled in two starts since returning to hurdles following a break including when 45L tenth over an extended 2m3f at Doncaster (good-to-soft) last time out. Market support would be notable having won off a higher mark over fences in the past.
First appearance since wind surgery came when finishing 5L second in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m3f at Doncaster (good-to-soft) in January. Strong claims of going one better despite a 1lb rise in the weights.
C&D winner finished a good third over an extended 1m7f at Catterick (soft) on his penultimate start and is an interesting runner wearing a tongue tie for the first time having finished 30L fifth over an extended 2m at Bangor (soft) last time out.
16 race maiden was beaten 30L when fourth in a novices' handicap chase over an extended 2m4f at Musselburgh (good) in November 2018. Absent since and market support would be notable on his return from a lengthy absence.
12 race made under all codes and finished a fair 45L fifth in a hurdle over 2m at Wetherby (soft) in January. Previously beaten 1L over an extended 1m7f at Catterick (good-to-soft) and is one to note on handicap debut.
Admirable veteran finished a decent 11½L fifth in a 2m handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (heavy) last time out. Well handicapped on his old form but likely to find a few too good in this event.
Nine race maiden finished sixth, beaten 19½L in a 2m4f handicap hurdle on soft ground early last month. Tongue tie tried for the first time on this occasion.

Forecasts
Meteorite (5/4), Nefyn Point (3/1), Flaming Glory (11/2), Minella Fiveo (7/1), Burnage Boy (14/1), Successor (16/1), Percy B Shelley (20/1), Red Ochre (28/1)
METEORITE represents a stable with a 40% strike-rate (2/5) in recent weeks and he is taken to go one better than when finishing runner-up at Doncaster last time out. The drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience too much and he can get the better of Nefyn Point who can take second in a first time tongue tie. Third place can go the way of handicap debutant Burnage Boy who ran well at Catterick on his penultimate outing.
- Meteorite
- Nefyn Point
- Burnage Boy
