The Venetia Williams-trained gelding had been in a solid run of form in a number of starts since the start of the season and can hold off the attentions of the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Above Board who has been given a chance by the handicapper now racing 8lb lower than last winning mark. The out of form Kapgarry for trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies and Antony in a first-time visor need to both bounce back in a big way in this contest.
