3-25 on AW and yet to win on this surface. Also hasn't won for over three years away from turf. Hard to fancy based on that and his most recent run at this track.
3-7 over hurdles (all wins at around 2m and with 'good' in the description last spring). Hadn't run on AW for some time until keeping on strongly to score at Newcastle (2m½f, Tapeta) last time. Up 4lb, but looks a contender again.
Dual turf winner at up to 2m½f when with Mick Channon, for whom he also won on Polytrack (1m4f) at Lingfield. Changed hands for 8,000gns since last seen in September. Has a good record when fresh and looks very interesting on stable debut.
Won a 2m novices' hurdle last spring and then a chase on fast ground at Wincanton in October. Has had wind surgery since last seen in October. Represents top trainer and has a very workable mark, so no surprise to see him go close on AW debut.
Another National Hunt winner in this line-up, but also proved himself over C&D when scoring last time out at 20-1 in a 0-65. Up 5lb and in a better race, but should be capable of going very close again.
2m hurdle winner who won three times over 1m4f on the Flat in France. Yet to make the frame on AW, and others press much stronger claims.

Forecasts
Londonia (11/8), Oleg (5/2), Lucky Lover Boy (11/2), Colwood (6/1), Cotton Club (7/1), October Storm (14/1), Lady Kyria (25/1)
The presence of Oleg adds extra interest here, and the market can guide us as to confidence in his chance after wind surgery. He will have a little bit to prove over this far if this is a true-run race, and preference therefore has to be for LONDONIA, who proved himself over C&D with a comfortable win last time. October Storm and Lucky Lover Boy are both potential dangers.
