Lightly raced for a horse of his age; clearly talented but hard to enthuse about after two runs in which he's failed to beat a rival home; returns from an absence and interesting that connections keep faith with him at least.
Made it six wins from 16 AW starts over 1m here last time out and shaped like this step up in trip would suit. 5lb higher for this but looks progressive and yard are in fine form.
Denied a four-timer when failing to beat a rival home at Wolverhampton last time out but not himself that day (hung right in the closing stages) and unsuited by being held up off a slow pace; may bounce back.
Hasn't won since his juvenile days back in 2016 and missed all of 2019. Looked in need of the run at Wolverhampton last month and he may need more time.
Has rattled off a hat-trick on AW this winter but a 6lb rise for his latest success in a four-runner contest could be a tad harsh. Not ruled out in four-timer bid but this is tougher.
Useful on AW and very well-handicapped on his old form but shown nothing in five starts since joining this yard this summer and best watched for now.
Forecasts
Star Of Bengal (11/10), Felix (10/3), Home Before Dusk (9/2), Lucky's Dream (15/2), White Mocha (12/1), Mythical Madness (100/1)
A tricky heat to open the card but preference is for HOME BEFORE DUSK who gave the impression a step up in trip could yield further improvement last time out and he may be able to land his seventh all-weather success here. It's probably wise to forgive Felix a below par effort last time out and Lucky's Dream is another to consider in his bid for a four-timer here.
