A winner at Dundalk on debut but really struggling since; often misses the break and hard to fancy on all known form.
A maiden after 15 starts but has shaped like he's capable of getting his head in front on a number of occasions including at Chelmsford last month; slow to break in two of his last three runs but not ruled out in a weak race.
Becoming well-handicapped on his wins from the summer over this trip at Wolverhampton and finds himself on a career low handicap mark; had excuses last time and this rider got a decent tune out of him last month when third of eight over C&D.
C&D winner but losing run goes back to June 2018 and he was beaten 5L at Chelmsford on Thursday; very well-handicapped but probably better over further.
Losing run goes back to 2017 when winning a Wolverhampton handicap from a mark of 82; shaped like a return to form may be near last time out at Wolverhampton but she's another who can often miss the break; dropped 2lb and not dismissed.
Only win came in December 2017 and very disappointing in two starts this winter; on a career low mark but yard have stronger claims with Superseded.
C&D winner when seen to good effect from the front two starts ago but couldn't build on that from revised mark at Wolverhampton earlier this month. Uncontested lead not out of the question so could be one to consider with the chance of a soft lead.
Sole AW win came her in 2017 but generally struggling for any sort of form in recent starts and his better efforts have come at 6f over the past 12 months.
Yet to come close to hitting the frame in seven starts and tailed off at Kempton on return last week; wears first-time cheekpieces and drops in trip.
Won twice on turf in 2018 but without success in 13 AW starts; drop back to the minimum trip perhaps not ideal and others preferred.
Forecasts
Under Curfew (7/2), Superseded (5/1), Dazacam (5/1), Andre Amar (5/1), Cuban Spirit (6/1), Bernie's Boy (13/2), Tiger Lyon (14/1), Autumn Splendour (20/1), Porto Ferro (20/1), Layla's Dream (50/1)
Cuban Spirit was an impressive winner over course and distance last month and it might be worth forgiving his latest start with the chance of getting another easy lead here. Superseded has become very well-handicapped and has run well in defeat at this venue but it might be worth taking a chance on DAZACAM who shaped like a return to form may be on the horizon at Wolverhampton last time.
- Dazacam
- Superseded
- Cuban Spirit
