9/2
Showed improved form to win on her reappearance at Warwick making good use of her hurdling experience. Held her form reasonably well since in better company (unsuited by track position last time); should give a good account.
2

Aurora Thunder54
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: T Scudamore| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR:  117

Highly-tried here although she probably deserves her chance to tilt at windmills having shown some consistent form since winning an Ayr novice. Not favoured by the weights but won't have any worries in the prevailing conditions.
3

£60,000 purchase after finishing runner-up in her only Irish point-to-point she failed to meet the expectations of the market when fourth on bumper debut. Pitched in at the deep end for her hurdles debut; makes little appeal.

Cill Annat30
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: H Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR:  135| D
4/6
Really come into her own since being switched to staying trips over hurdles having been a touch underwhelming in bumpers. Won her last two in this sphere defying a penalty last time; looks a progressive type who will handle the ground.

Bumper and dual hurdles winner last year her most recent success coming in testing conditions when long odds-on at Lingfield. Disappointed in last two starts at this level not really looking up to the task; set to struggle again.

Easter Gold28
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: D A Jacob| T: L Wadham| OR:  116

Appears to have improved for a wind op opening her timber account at Lingfield on her penultimate start making the most of an easy opportunity. Shaped as if in good heart still last time when beaten by a talented rival; more required here.

Eleanor Bob72
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR:  123
8/1
Looks on the up in his sphere having defied a penalty last time when following up her initial win at Exeter in a period when the yard were in sparkling form. Could well have more to offer and handles testing conditions; looks a danger to all.

Ziggy Roseh44
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: P J Brennan| T: Noel Williams| OR:  115
7/1
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who returned to form last time in handicap company benefitting from a more positive ride to finish second. Meritorious as that performance was she faces a much stiffer task here and would be a surprise winner.

Forecasts

Cill Anna (4/6), Aimee De Sivola (9/2), Ziggy Rose (7/1), Eleanor Bob (8/1), Early Morning Rain (10/1), Easter Gold (12/1), Aurora Thunder (22/1), Ballycallan Fame (66/1)

Verdict

On the evidence of her last run CILL ANNA will take some beating looking a progressive sort when winning at Warwick relishing the testing conditions and the form could hardly be stronger with the second, third and fourth all successful next time out. Exeter winner Eleanor Bob deserves a crack at this level having, like the selection, won her last two races and she remains open to further progress. Aimee De Sivola was below-par last time but she may have been on the wrong part of the track and her previous form entitles her to respect along with Easter Gold who will have no problem with the conditions.
  1. Cill Anna

  3. Aimee De Sivola
