Winner of a handicap hurdle over 2m2f at Auteuil (very soft) last October but disappointed when fourth as odds-on favourite on stable debut at Cheltenham (2m1f, soft) in a Grade 2 event last month. Likely to prove hard to beat in this contest.
Successful over an extended 1m4f on the AW at Newcastle last September. Well held on stable and hurdling debut at Plumpton (2m, heavy) earlier this month and others hold stronger claims.
Handicap hurdle winner on good-to-soft ground at Wincanton in November and ran well when runner-up at Fakenham (2m, good-to-soft) off a mark of 112 on his penultimate outing. More needed having pulled up at Kempton last time out.

This looks a much weaker event than the one MONTE CRISTO contested on his debut for this yard at Cheltenham last month and with that in mind he is taken to register a victory in this four runner juvenile event. The selection showed decent form in France prior to that and he can get the better of the hurdling newcomer Cherry Cola who can claim second on her return from a break. Beaufort can leave his hurdling debut effort well behind to see off Highway To Success in the battle for third.
