This marks her first run for 123 days, and she was last seen finishing in midfield in a decent contest at Aintree (3m; soft) in October. This is easier than either of her previous two assignments, and she does go well fresh.
Consistent without winning this season, and reverts to hurdles after being beaten 22-length into third at Uttoxeter (2m6f; heavy). Vulnerable to improvers. Would have place claims at best on the strength of either of her previous two hurdle runs.
Took record over hurdles to 2-3 last time out on handicap debut when following up bloodless success at Exeter (2m2f; heavy) two starts ago at that same track. Raised 8lb but retains further potential and is the one to beat.
Handicap debutante who failed to build on winning seasonal/stable debut for this yard when only fifth at Newcastle (2m4f; soft) last month. Would need to improve considerably on that effort to feature in this, and the form of the yard is a worry.
Firmly put in her place last time out by the potentially above-average Saint Xavier at Kempton (3m; good to soft). Form of her debut win has since been franked by the runner-up. Should be more competitive in this on handicap debut.
Produced a pair of disappointing runs since arriving on these shores for this stable. Subsequently been dropped 9lb in the handicap, but that is unlikely to be enough to spark a revival after the way she ran at Exeter (2m2f; soft) on New Year's Day.
Yet to fire over hurdles, but has hit the crossbar a couple of times. Bounced back from a below-par effort at this track on her penultimate start to finish third to a progressive rival over C&D last time out. Has to be considered a solid contender.
0-7 over hurdles, and was pulled-up when tailed off at Chepstow (2m3f; heavy) in a lower grade than this. Beaten a very long way on each of her previous two handicap starts. Is therefore best watched for the time being.
Forecasts
Kilconny Bridge (7/4), Wilde Spirit (7/2), Just A Thought (6/1), Win My Wings (15/2), Whatsdastory (8/1), Delight Of Dubai (12/1), Une De La Seniere (12/1), Carpool (33/1)
A decent contest and a few of these hold similar profiles, but KILCONNY BRIDGE is a confident selection after making a winning handicap debut at Exeter last week. She arrives here off an 8lb higher mark for a five-length winning margin, but she is on a sharp upward curve at present and can make light work of her current mark. The top-weight Win My Wings is interesting as this is easier than the contests she was pitched into when last seen, and she has won when returning from a break in the past. Although beaten 36-length recently, Delight Of Dubai is best judged on her hurdles/rules debut when beating Easter Gold who has since advertised that form on two occasions.
- Kilconny Bridge
- Win My Wings
- Delight Of Dubai
