Weakened to be last of five finishers over 2m5f on hurdles debut here last month, drops in trip now and gets first-time tongue-tie fitted; could be more to come.
Signs of progress when third in 17-runner Wincanton novice hurdle recently and should be able to get a challenge in here.
French import with a bit to prove after two runs over hurdles for Venetia Williams, beaten when falling at Hereford latest. Needs a good step forward.
Improved on second start for champion trainer to be fourth of eight at Fontwell over slightly further last month, will be competitive if taking similar stride forward now.
Modest third in novice company Huntingdon last month on second hurdles start, that effort gives him decent prospects in this line-up.
Fair sort on the Flat, winning three times, beaten a long way on hurdles bow at Fontwell back on Boxing Day and probably best watched on that evidence.
Three-time Flat winner finished 50-1 second in a maiden hurdle at Wincanton last month on second jumps start. Form appears reliable and no afterthought this time.
100-1 for hurdles bow over 2m5f here in November and never appeared likely to upset the odds before being pulled up; plenty to find.
Musselburgh bumper winner last March has struggled in three runs since; including this month's hurdles bow at Doncaster which came on the back of a wind operation. More needed despite going into maiden company.
Scorpion mare with bags of stamina in her pedigree, made debut in a bumper here in October 2018 and not without promise; unsighted since and market a decent guide to expectations now going over timber.
Runner-up in a Sedgefield bumper in October on debut, hasn't built on that in two further starts and must improve on recent hurdles bow at Wetherby over this trip to have a chance.
Irish Flat winner, placed on hurdles bow at Hereford last month though failed to improve on that form since at Catterick. Must step up again.
Average maiden on the Flat, well held in novice/maiden hurdles here already over 2m5f and this trip; plenty more to find to get competitive.
French 1m3f maiden winner last June and joined current British yard in December for hurdles career. Promising fourth on debut at Taunton prior to fine second in Grade 2 event at Cheltenham last time. Leading claims on form.
Fair maiden on the Flat for Dermot Weld in Ireland, offered something to work with in Kempton Juvenile Hurdle last month (fifth of nine) and possible he can improve on that effort.
21-race maiden on the Flat, goes over hurdles for the first time here and would rate a bit surprise if the Champs Elysees is good enough to make her mark.
Forecasts
Night Edition (5/4), Rhosneigr (7/2), Zarafshan (5/1), Forever Des Long (7/1), Kilpin (11/1), Grand Slam (14/1), Funambule Sivola (20/1), Hello Bob (33/1), Lex Eleven (40/1), Big Data (50/1), Lady Sally (50/1), Giga White (50/1), Memphis Bleek (66/1), Black Kalarosa (100/1), Fayetta (100/1), Letsbe Avenue (100/1)
NIGHT EDITION was second in a Grade 2 Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham last month behind a well-regarded sort and David Pipe's runner rates the one to beat on that form, with the probability of more to come. Rhosneigr heads the dangers just ahead of Grand Slam and Forever Des Long while the potential improvers include Big Data and Zarafshan.
