3-20 on AW, including a C&D success last October, when 4lb lower. Also went close when 2lb higher over C&D in November on his final start for David Brown. Not yet back at that level for this trainer, but should be competitive.
Scored once each on both turf and Polytrack in 2018. but has been unable to strike again. Slipping in the weights, but needs significant improvement on recent efforts to win again.
Has scored on both Polytrack and Tapeta, although he was well beaten on his only start on this surface last November. Bit to prove both on that basis and also on his last two starts.
Dual 7f Wolverhampton winner in 2018, but now on a 15-race losing run. Has posted a couple of more encouraging efforts since having wind surgery (both here, 7f) and is interesting now dropping 1lb and back in trip.
5f winner here in November, when 11lb lower. Has since scored at Chelmsford (5f) and also went very close when just 1lb lower back here over 5f on his penultimate start. More needed back up in trip, but likely to be competitive.
0-15, and has earned his only two placed finishes over this C&D. That includes last time out, when held in third over C&D. Much more needed.
Forecasts
Poeta Brasileiro (15/8), Jem Scuttle (9/4), Madrinho (11/2), Loulin (6/1), Global Humor (8/1), Hellofagame (25/1)
Poeta Brasileiro looks likely to be competitive again along with Loulin, but preference is for JEM SCUTTLE, who has been heading back in the right direction after wind surgery, and is given the vote.
